Streamlining Manual Processes with PreBilt™

The company, an international building materials producer, operates SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and requires a more streamlined goods receipt process. The customer has been reliant on paper-based processes to carry out key warehouse activities, with manual input required to update SAP. Looking to digitise its goods receipt process, the manufacturer turned to The Config Team for a more intuitive solution to reduce errors, downtime and paperwork.

PreBilt for WM will be implemented to provide a single mobile solution to carry out goods receiving against purchase orders directly into SAP in real-time. PreBilt’s scanning functionality will enable users to derive all relevant information from a single scan, including identify purchase order items, create inbound delivery records, create shipping documents and post the goods receipt in SAP.

While it is easy to operate and configure PreBilt to meet new requirements, with little training, we will provide knowledge transfer and training for the customer’s onsite teams, enabling future configurations to be made by the internal team without the need for any development from our consultants. This will help ensure the solution remains fit for purpose, maintaining efficiency throughout the operation.

Following the implementation, our support team will work closely with the customer’s internal teams to ensure the solution continues to run effectively.
