According to Verizon’s 2018 Data Breach Investigation Report, over 70% of cyber attackers deliberately target small businesses.
Cyber Essentials is a UK Government-backed, industry-supported scheme to help organisations protect themselves against common online threats such as phishing, hacking and password guessing. It is not (yet) a legal requirement to be Cyber Essentials certified but it is becoming increasingly common within our supply chain and is a requirement for any Government or MOD tenders.
