The current hardware used to host OSS is now reaching the end of life. For some time SAP have been running two systems - main frame R3 solution (OSS) and the SAP Service Marketplace (SAP Support Portal). OSS will be phased out as follows:
System Data Admin: Q3 2005
Licence Key Request:Q3 2005
SSCR Key Request: Q3 2005
SAP Notes Search/Message to SAP: Q1 2006
Corporate Messages: Q1 2006
Administer Remote Connections: Q1 2006
Transition periods exist but use of the SAP Support Portal and access via Internet is advised as the method to be employed in the future.
